What is Domestic Violence
Domestic violence can take different forms, but its purpose is always the same: Abusers want to control their domestic partners through fear. They do this by abusing them physically, sexually, psychologically, verbally, and economically. Here are the categories of domestic violence : Physical Abuse, Verbal Abuse, Sexual Abuse, Isolation, Coercion, Harassment, Economic Control, Abusing Trust, Threats and Intimidation, Emotional Withholding, Destruction of Property or Self-Destructive Behaviours.
